**Last day of our Valentines Giveaway. Click HERE to learn more!**
This is the first year I’ve “done” Valentines with my kids. I have to admit it’s just not usually my thing.
But I thought it might be a fun way to teach Elijah the joy of giving to others.
At first I was just going to go buy a box of cards from Target, but then I thought we could attempt simple creativity. I’m so glad we did!
Since his favorite color is orange this seemed like a perfect fit. (And Mama liked the idea that no candy was involved!)
I kept is simple and purchased ten oranges (on sale) and some plain white labels (also on sale). I used markers and toothpicks we had at home.
First I gave Elijah an entire sheet of labels to color himself while I wrote the greeting on a different sheet of labels. I stuck one of his and one of mine together with a toothpick in between. He pushed them all into oranges.
Super easy, and he can’t wait to deliver them to his friends tomorrow.
